I pulled the trigger on these when I saw they existed. When I got my G last year the first thing I noticed was the mirrors not being blued when on my G20 they came stock like that. It sort of bothered me, I guess enough to make me not think twice at getting these when I saw this thread. I paid about $160USD after shipping and that was via EMS. Got them from a shop in Japan: Car Parts Shop MM. What I got was:
So you get two mirrors (with double sided tape already applied on the back), a suction cup, some instructions, a "you got a official NISMO product" certificate, and some alcohol wipes.
Install is straight forward: clean mirrors, use suction cup to line up insert mirror, pull of double sided tape, press on, done. If you want to feel safe add some tape on the four sides of the mirror while the adhesive sets up.
And the thing most want to see: before and after comparisons.
I tried my hardest to be sitting in the same place and hold the camera at head level when taking all four pictures. Car never moved between pictures and the mirrors are in the same position. So there you have it. Haven't driven with them yet at night but I know what to expect and I'm pleased so far.
@zer099: Thank you SO much for the details! It'll be a few more weeks before I get around to mine.
@jq604: from what I came across, Nissan mentions that these blue mirrors inhibit heated mirror functionality and they would be "disabled" (bad translation I'm guessing). Obviously it's not physically being disabled, but it read as though it was inhibited so much by the blue mirror, you basically lost the heated mirror function.
Hopefully someone who's gone through it can verify.
My mirror isn't heated, so I won't be much help with a first-hand data point.
I have a 10 mile commute to my gym and a 23 mile commute home from there. Driving to the gym I go east/north-east so the setting sun is in the rear view. Mirrors did great at handling glare and the sun straight on. I would say, for me, that alone made it worth the cost. Driver's side B/C pillar blind spot is 100% gone. I can see a whole car in the side mirror still when it hits my peripheral. Driving home at night I loved that my side views no longer had blinding glare from the cars with the brightest HIDs they could put on their cars.
All in all I found it a very worth wild and worth the money. I know everyone will gauge the usefulness of spent money differently but if one broke I would buy another set.
Hey roger did you ever get a chance to order these, i finally sourced out a pair ,i haven't even began looking into it, waiting for my car to finish getting painted.
I am gonna give it a try when its done,
i wonder if the wiring on the Japanese mirror is the same as the us.
Here's a pic of them just mounted up.
Pardon the pic its super dusty in the shop lol

The second pic demonstrates how you would use the side cameras for parking, I suppose... the question is whether the USDM G37s are equipped for it.
I know you can tinker with the display setting, but I don't know if you can enable an otherwise available option for side camera feed to the display. I remember tinkering with the sonar, but can't recall much beyond that.
from what i was reading about it, it seems pretty cool. I like the face that through it you can update the gps/nav system without going to the dealership for an update
I havent even touched the wiring lol its a diff plug i gotta wire em 1 by 1
