Hello everyone!! I've been lurking on this forum for a few months. I just bought an IPL axel back exhaust from a member here for my 2010 G37S Convertible. Surprisingly it is more quiet than my stock exhaust. I love the aggressive look of the ipl exhaust tips. Is there anyway I can make it louder?

You can add high flow cats or test pipes to make it louder.

 

or you can add y pipe and midpipe for a little more noise

 

If you don't like the IPL, I would suggest the Sport exhaust - it is a direct bolt up (took me less than 30 minutes) and it has the larger diameter pipes, chrome tips and sounds GREAT!

Hmm...so the sport exhaust is louder then the IPL? I have an 08 G37 Sport, in which I was assuming the Sport has the sport muffler.....but I guess not!

 

"Sport" package as a car build option does NOT include the optional "Sport" exhaust...

 

or you can do like me and change the IPL exhaust out for a Stillen or some other aftermarket. I too was very disappointed with the IPL exhaust sound. I looked at all kinds of youtube videos abt how great it sounded. That just wasn't my experience. I probably should have tried HFCs first but I just replaced.
