Last Rattle, Back Seat Passenger Side Headrest area
About the seals. I have lubed them twice since I've had the car (1 year). I used gummi-phledge and it does a terrific job. But after reading that recent post from someone who left the top half open (like I did) and had the top settle back in the trunk - and refuse to lift again has me scared. I don't think I want to do this procedure again. I always finished before the top settled by more than a few inches. So, it was never even close to going completely down. I also left the ignition ON so the car never lost power. I wonder if that's the key issue?
My dealer replaced the entire rear seat back (pop up roll bar and all) to stop my rattling head rests which I posted in the other rattle thread about a year ago. So far, my car is very quiet. At the time, they said they didn't want tp mess with the safety equipment and just ordered a new one (I didn't ask to do this).
Yes, same issue. Dealer told me they didn't want to mess with it since it was safety equipment and just decided to replace the seat back (This was like a year ago). So far it's quiet, but I suspect over time it will come back and I'll do what you did.
