Picked up an 8+ foot christmas tree, put it in one of those needle catcher bags, and dropped the top.

Stupid pic showed up sideways... I will say it was pretty damn easy to get the tree in with the top down Only had 2 needles in the back seat after a 10 mile drive home.

My truck has 2 doors, so I guess technically it can be done with a coupe

As an aside, when I went to pick up my xmas tree, I was happy to see someone else actually brought a pickup (why people bring their SUVs that can only fit a plant in the back to get an xmas tree, I dont know). But laughed when I saw the tonneau cover they didnt want to remove, so the tree ended up strapped onto the tonneau cover hold down braces. At that point you might as well just hang it out the trunk of a Civic

Well, I have a Titan with an 8ft bed but it's sitting 2759 miles away in FL right now. I wanted a tree so I improvised, adapted, and overcame.

Yes, but if you accidently leave the top down during Christmas, this may happen:

OK, so I had no problem dropping the top on my Vert and loading my tree. However, tipping the car over on its side like in your picture proved to be a bit troublesome. Hopefully, the scuffs in the paint on the driver's side will rub out........
