Stupid question about a stupid problem...

Thought about that but not really worth it to me... I kinda did a hybrid of the suggestions I got here yesterday in order to put the bottom vent plate back in... ended up unbolting the drivers side under engine splash shield and some of the wheel well and got my arm in there enough to push it back into place... thanks for all the responses!

I don't know about Infiniti but there are some pretty skookum after-markets lights out there. Most have universal mounting kits, I was thinking of installing a set where those louvers are and somehow wire them to the existing cct (using a relay, of course). For one thing I could keep them on independently from High/Low beams.
