Ahhh the irony about the color huh? First you were getting Black, then Blue then ended up buying the Pacific but just after delivery it was Black & Blue anyway.

 

Yeah, sometimes the colors do not do it justice until you see them in person. I am getting the insurance estimate tomorrow and then taking her to the body shop. It should take about 4-5 days to complete. Gonna miss her,

Did you get it in the shop? I'd be soo pissed if the day I got it I hit something (which I'm sure you are)...that sucks bad.

Mine has been sitting since I was away and I washed and waxed it right before it rained. I need to rewash it and get that glowing red back....right in time for more rain.

 

I was pretty upset at the sob that dropped the wheelbarrow and did not stop but, thankful that I did not get hurt or hit someone else. She went into surgery last Friday and will get her back this Friday on time for sunshine. It is scheduled to rain here for the next 2 days. The bumper is off, the new headlight is on, the clear bra is off and they are going to paint the right front fender and blend into the door in the next day, put the bumper back on and having the clear bra applied on Friday along with a wash before I pick her up around 6pm on Friday.

Clear bra on right after paint? That's a no no. The reason you can do it from the dealer is the car was made well over a month. You can't even wax new paint without a good chance of haze.

 

My girl will be ready late on Friday and it will be sunny all weekend. I will be driving her topless all weekend to make up for not being able to drive her over a week and put some miles on her. Thanks for the tip on the clear bra, the shop will have me come back in a month to apply the clear bra to the bumper and right corner fender.

Damn, got a call mid afternoon on today and my girl won't be ready till Monday. We are expecting rain also on Monday. Can't catch a break with this car so far. Had it for 2 weeks now and only 100 miles on it.

Got my girl back and she is looking as hot and sexy as when I got her. Tomorrow will be sunny and cold but, I am taking her top off and driving around. They washed it for me and will go back in a month to have the clear bra put back on. I will take pixs tomorrow and load them.

so here's a potentially dumb question...how do you get access into the trunk with the top up? I don't see a way in there from the pix you have here.

 

Look for the little silver button to the left of the left rear back-up light and all you have to do is push the button if you have the key fob with you or just press the trunk button under the left side of the dash.
