Nice combination. The local dealer has a g37s in Athens/Stone which I liked too. My vert is moonlight white / stone g37s / premium / nav / tech. I was split on interior color - light colors look great when new and are much more comfortable in the sun but my e36 vert has a light "dove" grey interior that shows every mark. Athens is a nice serious blue that looks great in the sun. Over on the nico forums g37 vert section there is a photo of an athens blue g37 with a spoiler - the only one I've ever seen. My dealer in upstate NY also says no availability on the spoiler yet.
Strong recommendation to buy a radar detector - I've got an escort 8500 that has saved me many times.
Interesting notes - cig lighter plug power switches off when the ignition is turned off unlike my Audi and BMW which stayed on - so the radar detector stays plugged in and turns on when I press the car "start" button. On my wife's X3, the headlights stay on the "auto" setting all the time and turn off when the car is turned off. I first thought that the "auto" setting left the lights on whenever the car was dark - even with the ignition off. One of the setup panels lets you customize the "auto - off" time delay which I've set now to something low - I hate walking away from a car with the headlights on.

Sunny and mid 30's here in upstate NY so I've had the top down. All the voice control stuff switches off when the top is down - makes sense I guess. Bluetooth phone works well with windows up (top down) even at highway speeds.

Yeah, with the top down all the voice stuff is disabled which is kind of beat because it is quiet enough in the cabin with the top down for it to work properly. Quite honestly though, I rarely use the vocie thing but the kids think it is fun! They like to use the address feature and choose a state then speak silly words and see what city the computer comes up with...

Seriously, waiting is HARD but, having some self control until you put 1,000 miles on her is even HARDER. Congrats & good luck!
why wait until 1,000 miles... Break in periods are a thing of the past..
are you purchasing or leasing? i just bought the x sedan and love it, and now i want to add to it by getting the convertible.
i love that midnight garnet color.
