My plan is to wait until May 20th/23rd to place my order. He said shipping on the 20th and first come, first serve.

i am pumped as you are my friend.. cant wait to pop the roof with my fob, although this may be really hard on the battery if the car is not started, alot of hydraulic pumps.

Solution: Add a remote start- start the car and open the roof.

i guess it cant be to bad on the battery since the car is designed to open the roof by using the button on the handle when its off.

 

news to me.. that sucks man..was hoping for the may 20th release. should call and ask..

 

so i guess theres not enough people to get a list of ten by the release date..
might just order a module by myself then so i dont miss out on this. i emailed sven and he said there limited first in first out.

 

So did he tell you when the release date is? is it june 6 like on the site or May 20th. I would also like to get my hands on one.

 

He now says that the date is June 2nd and that date is firm. I hope so. He told me "the harnesses are on their way". After suffering through back to back Aprils (as in cold/damp/cloudy/rainy), I am really hoping for a sunny June and this unit will make it even better.
He said hopefully on both counts.......

Hey! Anyone got their smart top module yet? I just got mine and installed it. Install was very easy but having a few problems. Just wondering if anyone was having the same issues.

Issues are:
1) Lock button on Key FOB doesn't closes the top or windows
2) Top freezes during opening (opens quarter/halfway/three-quarter and stop) using the key fob.
3) Front windows don't roll up, just rear windows using the centre console button (since the key FOB for closing doesn't work)

I haven't tried opening and closing while driving yet. I've troubleshooted and according to LED, the connections are made right. Firmware is upto date. I've also emailed there product support.

 

did u install it yourself? what did support have to say? hope mine doesn't fudge up.
