Thanks albeik!

Damnit!!! they're giving the non sport model bumper with the G37x. Hell the G37x looks like a damn base model, completely stripped. Infiniti will never fail to disappoint me. Is it even possible to get the Nav with the X? I might not have a choice though, I absolutely want AWD. Tough decision now.

If you can wait it out some more, do so. Just like it happened with the sedan, the coupe AWD will get option for sport down the road.

Hopefully that is just speculative.
All convertibles must be reinforced for added safety in case of roll over and the lack of a roof makes the rear of the vehicle less stable, therefore the reinforcements add weight and decrease performance. Price you pay for sexy.

You guys do know the target audience for the G37/G35 is 40/50+ age bracket, right? Few people in that age category car about the weight of the car. They don't track the car and add aftermarket parts. If you are complaining about the weight of the current G37 or will be complaining about the weight of the new AWD or convertible then you didn't do your research. The 350Z/370Z is marketed more toward the 20/30 age range so get that car if you want a convertible that is not as heavy.

Unfortunately I can't wait any longer, I need to buy my car this year as my current one won't make it through this winter (after 15 years it's time has finally arrived to retire). Yea I'm pretty sure as well they will offer the G37x sport next year just like the sedan does. I guess it will depend what the msrp will be, if they try to sell the x around the same price as the s, then I might skip it and go with another manufacturer. I'm hoping the canadian version of the x will be different as the market is much larger for awd cars up here but I'm sure that won't happen. We will see...

That's Blue Slate.

I don't see any reason why the G37x Coupe won't have Nav. The sport package was never related to the Nav or Tech packages.
