Toyota do make better engines.. My G has 5800 miles. While running idle, my 06 coupe sounds worse then my friends 2003 camry. My car also shakes alot. pretty bad for a luxury sports.

To be honest, my 06 coupe engine sounds the same as my 1996 integra with over 200k miles.

5.0 liter motors sound nice, but it's kind of bad timing. Gas isn't getting any lower and the trend is switching to hybrids, electric and other alternative fuel. A G with instant electric torque would be fun and make the people concerned with 0-60 happy.

I can't see me in a 5.0 G. I waste too much gas in this one as it is lol But it makes sense... BMW has the M3 coupe and they have an M3 sedan on the way, Lexus has the IS-F, Mercedes has all these AMG's, and Audi has the S4.

All of these are V8 powered beasts priced about the same, Infiniti should jump in that market... My two cents.

if they throw that high of a speculated horsepower motor in the G, they are going to have to make quite a few changes to the cars dynamics to be able to handle the power. The rear wheels alone barely take the power it has now. The motor mounts in the G just arent that stiff to begin with etc...

Imagine turning VDC off on that sucker... bye bye traction all together..
