Service In G'ville

Those of you in Gainesville what do you do when you need service but can't quite leave the area for Jacksonville or Orlando or wherever for service? I am in that position and my G needs service. Is it ok to go to a place like Gainesville Nissan for service or any other Nissan dealership?

What kind of service do you need done to the car? 30k or 60k inspection? You'll have to go to an infiniti dealership for that, I believe. The local nissan dealerships are good for oil changes, but won't do any major service intervals (i think) or warranty work.

PM pearlwhite03 as he is a gainsville member of our club or e-mail him at xRunman440@gmail.comx (just remove the x's)

I spoke to the Nissan guys here and they said that warranty work CANNOT be done here at Nissan :-( It is quite stuipd of Nissan/Infiniti to do that if you ask me.

btw, pearlwhite03 = Paul and I think Paul drives south to get his car serviced!

I also spoke to them and they told me that they do a lot of infinitis but don't do warranty. I only have to do the 7500 mile service which i know is an oil change and i think a rotation and balance and with exams this week and next week i'll probably just do it in town

thanks for the help guys

I do my oil changes and simple things myself here in Gainesville. I drive down to Lokey to have any major stuff or warranty stuff done though. Yeah, it seems kinda stupid that Nissan won't do much stuff on our cars, I don't really see what the big deal is about it. I even tried to have a part shipped from Infiniti to the Nissan dealer up here and they couldn't do it.
