The Nissan Urge

Ths is a cool idea. I really like the fact that two cars can play against one another wirelessly. I doubt the car would see production but it has some hot ideas like transparent hood something I have long wanted to do but I know how hard it is to keep polycarbonates swirl free... it is worse than black paint.

Check out the slide show.

I dont feel like registering for the site, but is this the videogame that can be controlled by the car's controls? Neat idea, really not difficult to implement, and you can even do it yourself with some sensors and tapping into the ones currently on the car. A college team in the Formula SAE compeitition i competed in a few years ago whose name escapes me now had a gameboy or some other gaming device imbedded in their steering wheel. They used the display for car info, such as speed, rpm, etc, but they could also switch to gaming mode to play Mario Kart, using the car's controls. Neat stuff.

go to news.google.com and look for it under the sci/tech section. That is where i found it. Sorry about the link.

http://news.google.com/?topic=t scroll to the bottom you will see it.

The car is a little odd looking but has some very neat interior stylings.

Yeah right. Maybe they will do a PS3 version of this in furture production cars. But with this being a Nissan and xbox this may mean that they are already in bed togther and it will not make it to the INfinity line. Unless they realize the PS3 is the premium to the gamer as the Infiniti is the upgrade to the driver

Wow... that is so cool!

Now if they added a rail gun and a few rocket launchers, I'd be good to go...
