Update IPOD install 05 Coupe

I just wanted to thank Alan for the installing the Ipod in the G. I couldnt have done it with out him. It took a little longer than expected sorry Chuck but it was worth the wait. This morning just got in and listened about my chicken that died, then a little rap, then a little christmas music, then a little classic, rock, then a little classical music. Inside joke.

What a wire mess last night I was def. scared that it wasnt giong to work but everything fell in to place around the 11th hour. Loads of fun. I only wish i would have brought a camera to document all the problems we had for the next 05 coupe the decides to do this, however I wouldnt be able to explain it I was pretty confused after the first 5 mins of ripping out the dash. After that I didnt know what was up and down. I did learn how to unscrew the diagnostic port from the pannel underneath the stearing wheel. .

I don't know how much Wild121 will be able to help but I can point you in the right direction. In the 05's there are no shortcuts. I'll call you later today once I pick up the holster. Overall not a very hard job just a little different in the wiring compared to the 03-04's.

I agree if you take my advise on any car project you need help. A second go around would help a lot.

Why thank you if you ever want to switch out your Xm radio for an Ipod let me know. The funny thing is I think Im the only person to suffer an injury while taking out a kick panel of a car. kneeling in glass wasnt as painful as I thought it would be.

What a wussy. You know what they say. No pain, no gain. I have cuts on my hands from the metal on the dash. You don't see me complaining, lol.

He just doesn't get our dry humor, Chuck. As it was painfully evident last night.
