Im back...:) got a new toy

No one probably really even knew I was gone for the past week but in that time I have managed to close on my house and move in...yeahhh! and then 2 days ago me and my roomate decided to buy bikes. My roomate got a 2005 honda cbr 1000 and i gotz a 2005 suzuki gsxr 1000. Needless to say I am done modding my car, waste of time.....well atleast for power. Man, this bike is fast!

Be careful man. I ride too. I have a 04 gixxer 600. A lot and i do mean A LOT of people have been going down here in Miami. If you have been riding for a few years the 1000 will suit you just fine...if you are a noob be careful, that 1000 will end up on your head in a blink of an eye if you let your right wrist get too excited!

People in cars are "affectionetly" known as Chagers by bikers. I know what you mean about the speed of bikes. I have a '03 CBR 600rr(track) and a '04 CBR 1000rr(street). They are both fun in different ways. I put off modding my car as long as I could. There is just something fun about going fast in the AC of a car plus having a good stereo system. I'm sure you'll have fun on your new toy. I hope someone puts out a decent slipon for the 05 GSXR1000 cause that pipe is UGLY! I had a chance to ride one and they sure did raise the bar power wise in the Liter bike category. If you get a chance ride your friends 1000RR. It will give you a good idea of what you need to enhance the ride of yours and likewise for him. He just needs a new rear shock, slipon, power commander 3 and a double bubble windscreen. Enjoy the ride and keep the shiny side up.

It's so funny that you say this. I just got some new speakers, crossovers and a 600W amp with built in crossover and a cap yesterday for the G. In about 2 weeks I'll have the ability to go fast and have better sound too. Boy, this is like a kid waiting for Christmas!
