Thumbs up Transmission Solved... Lokey Rules!!

I've been waiting for some pictures I took to post. Pics not back yet, but oh well I'll post them later.... They're from a business trip I had to make a few days after I got my car back. I stopped by the Blue Ridge Parkway on my way back home and snapped a few pictures. I swear the ride is probably the most scenic, peaceful and the most nerve wrecking ride of my life.... The roads up there are probably the most curving, turning, "hilly" roads I have ever been on, but then again I guess since I'm a Floridian my opinion on that matter kinda sucks... lolz. Well they were just nerve wrecking because here I was driving about 5000-6000ft above sea level, on a road that said 45mph with at times 90 degree turns, no guard rails, no shoulders, one lane road, with drops that I would guess be in the hundreds of feet maybe 2 or 3 feet off of the road.... fun but a little scary in a way....

Anyways.... about my transmission. Lokey was great, Brian helped me through the whole thing, very professional, very upfront, very polite. Called me a bunch of times so I was never sitting there like "dood where's my car?" I only got to talk to John briefly as he was really really busy everytime I was at the dealership. But he was just as nice and polite when I did have the chance to have a quick chat with him. About the transmission, after I had explained my ordeal, Brian was a bit hesitant, and laid out pretty much all the possible options, constantly saying is this what you heard from Orlando Infiniti (I think he didn't want me feel like he was giving the shaft as I had before with OI). After all things out in the open with my options, I asked him to have quick word with John to see his opinions, and well... John was like order him a transmission just like that... I have to say, I was like WOW... but yeah, they also mentioned that I might look into replacing my clutch since I has been about 36k miles so it might needed to get replaced. I ordered the JWT clutch/flywheel combo and they installed it...

....the first transmission they put in was a dud though, apparently it made some sort of "marblely" kind of noise, as if a marble had fallen in there. So they took it off and overnight'ed me a new transmission, put it in... and gave it back the following day.

Overall the experience with Lokey was really good, I'd recommend them to anyone. So I'll be back for service sometime later when I need it.... Thanks Lokey! and Thanks you guys for the referral!! I'm just happy with the new clutch and new transmission, it actually feels a little smoother than the old one too... could it be an 05 tranny? or am I just hallucinating because I'm happy my car's fixed?? lolz. The clutch/flywheel is awesome too, but its really noisy...

Definitely worth the price of admission to the FGC. Just imagine all of the cool things we wait to tell you until AFTER you join the club...

Ian, please do tell. Will you have your car supercharged by the August meet? Unfortunately the shop in NC forgot about zdayz the weekend I was going up for my install so Jose, Jason and I pushed the trip back 2 weeks. I feel like a 5 year old who knows Santa Claus will be showing up sometime at the end of the month.

LOL...no, no, no. I don't have any plans to go supercharged as of yet. I'm staying N/A for now. I did get a lil something something a few weeks back but I won't have that installed in time for the dyno day. The supercharger comment was referring to you guys getting your vortechs soon...

So now that you've pushed your trip back a few weeks can I assume that you three will make it to our dyno day?

Ian, can I help you install this "something, something" in my garage? If so, give me a call and maybe one evening (or even next Friday afternoon) I can help you out.
