Sorry to hear about the situation...but listen why not look at it like this there many other gilrs out there so don't stay down in the pits. Breakups hurt but you grow stronger and if it was meant to be you and her will be.
Now as for you parting out the car...."the man" who is strongly encouraging me to get some type of FI in my G, I wouldn't do it. I mean it's time consuming and a lot of work going back stock and just think of all the withdrawl you are going to have after doing it. My opinion is just keep it and enjoy it.
Good luck on whatever you choose to do though!

ryan,
I am sorry to hear of your sad news.
a true love is hard to get over, but just keep telling yoruself
"what does kill me, makes me stronger!"
before you know it, you'll have moved on and you'll be enjoying life, family, and friends again.
...and keep the car; enjoy your hobbies; they are what make you who you are. You may regret it if you part out your car......seriously, what other sucker will you find to sell you a TN kit will loads of extras for so cheap
if you ever wanted to go FI again?
...and one more word of advice, tell your parents about your car. keeping secrets from them only causes more stress for you. what's done is done, and it's better to inform them, than to have them find out some other way...then, they'll be pissed.
Hang in there! ...and know that you have the whole FGC here to support you!

Dan, why don't you install one of the KP Tech Brake Boost modules in Ryan's car; that'll get his mind off of things.
My word of advice Ryan: there are only a few things that YOU can control in life and women are not one of them. Jeremy and I have been friends for a long time and we have each seen women come and go. Jeremy knows my ex fiance(which i dated for 5 years and then was engaged for over a year) and he saw how difficult it was for me. Nothing is easy and sometimes it just sucks but we are judged not by how we react when things are good but when things are going bad. I could sit here and tell you that you will find someone eventually but that wouldn't do any good because everybody will tell you that. Do what you enjoy and take this time to spend more time with your friends that you haven't been able to hang out with because you had a girlfriend. Everything passes with time. That includes opportunities. Carpe Diem.
