Please read...

Sigh....here it goes....

I was parting out the car because I needed some money. I've always had 2nd thoughts of going back to stock....just to enjoy a problem-free car. I hate the possibility of blowing my motor. I hate not being able to tell my dad my car is fast. I hate not having AC....and I'm tired of my new clutch. And to top things off...I finally decided I wanted to buy Lauren a ring.

Now that we are done for good, I need to do everything possible to keep my mind off of her. I was really planning on moving back to Clearwater next week. It would be great to live with my parents again...no rent, big house, parents company... But once again, I need to do everything possible to keep my mind off of Lauren. I have no friends back home....and I think that may be the worst thing possible for me. This decision is still up in the air though since I need to be out of my apartment in a week with no place to live in Orlando still.

I hate to be a depressed piece of **** and tell you all my sob story and feel pathetic, but you know what...I don't care. I'm not writing this for sympathy. I'm writing this to get everything off of my chest. I've never been so depressed in my life.

Therefore...I'm holding off on parting out my car. I can't leave my hobby at this time in my life. I made some money at valet and this group buy for the Vortechs is helping me out money wise. I just feel that if I part my car, that will give me more time to dwell on Lauren.

I'm sorry for all those who I have already told I would sell the parts to. I really am. I just feel that...as of now...this is the best decision.

I think that you should keep the car just how it is. dont part it out that will take the hobby that you love so much and lose that as well. I am sorry to hear about your girl it is always a crappy situation when stuff like that happens but look on the up side things always happen for a reason. You have a very nice car and hope that you decide to keep it.

Good thing you didn't buy that ring!

Keep the car, make a few mods to stabilize the system.... and then start taking it to the track!

OR, keep the car, put it back to stock, Get a miata or something affordable as a weekend toy. Mod THAT and make that a weekend racer!

Clearly, I want a weekend racer in my life, but don't have the $, so I want to vicariously live through you.

Good luck with whatever choice you make.

Hey Ryan,

No worries man. Do what you gotta do for sure. There will always be other parts and other sales. I'm glad that your car is an outlet for you cuz there are some that have no outlet at all.

Also, from the posts that I have seen in regards to your threads, I think that you have more friends that you realize. You just gotta quiet you mind long enough to recognize that they are there.

I really hope that everything works out for you and don't worry about you ex. I know that this might not be the best analogy but Thomas Edison failed a thousand times before he found how to make a light bulb just like all the bad relationships in life will show you what you really want and what you really need so that when the right one comes along, you WILL know.

I really respect the fact that you have the ***** to put it all out there like that on this message board.

Good luck bro and know that you got a friend in Cali.

ps. If you ever change your mind about your mud guards.

Kindest regards,

Truman

hahaha, wow Dan! Way to hit the nail on the head!

Ryan, i am sorry to hear about everything! I can imagine that if you were planning on buying her a ring that you were in pretty deep, but everything happens for a reason. It's better now than down the road...you know what i mean? I broke up with my g/f after 2 years and it was the worst thing ever!! I worked my *** off for like 6 months it was the only thing that i could do to keep my mind off of her...then the part that sucked was all of my friends were her friends as well and all i would hear was how she was starting to go on dates with guys here and there and it just pissed me off to hell. All i did was think to myself how is she getting over this so easily and im still in the sh!thole? I didn't have a car to work on or take to the track so basically i had school and work to keep my mind off of her, which sucked.

Just try to keep yourself on the right path and keep yourself occupied. Things like this wont just go away it will probably be a while before thiungs are "back to normal". Sorry to hear about everything! Let me know if i can help you out with anything.

yeah i always sux when you first break up but in the long run is for the best.

the most important thing right now is to try to move on and forget bout the past and find someone new and better

so you might be going back to tampa? what bout school?

glad you're keeping your car though!

dude, very sorry to here that about your relationship. Best way in my experience to get over a women is to put yourself full force into something else, car, fishing, job, friends and family(thats the best), finding your femine side and kicking the crap out of it for what it let you be put through etc. Good luck, you will be fine....just remember, it's not your lose, it's hers.

Sorry to hear that man. I've been in some rough relationships so I can definitely understand where you're coming from. No big deal about the car - i'd rather see it stay as is then buy your parts heheh. Good luck with everything and let us know when you're out near tampa/clearwater

life is full of ups and downs. im currently in 1 of those lows like you. it sucks but if the car makes you smile, then keep it and hold your head up.

why dont you sell the tn kit and just build your motor? you will still be plenty fast and a lot safer.
