The point is, 99.9% of the time the FGC members do not attend shows... period. I hope we will start to have a bigger presence. From what I hear lately, it sounds like it is heading in that direction. The proof will be when we see who actually shows up, and who just says they are going. I hope you guys have a good turn out at HIN Night Shift. If it wasn't for the Battle of the Imports the next day, I would be there.

Ryan, if you're the "lone ranger" then so be it. You've got an awesome ride, be the leader. Chuck and I were the ONLY ones out of many that did the CFTC show this year. I had a great time and it would have been perfect if it wasn't for the friggin rain again.
It sucks that the two shows are so close to each other....I think if they werent back to back a lot more people would be showing for both clubs. I think that everyone has to understand that FGC is more social club and OZOC is more show but that doesnt deny the legitimacy of FGC. I have a blast whenever i hang out with FGC and OZOC.
If FGC wants to become more show oriented then there needs to be a set schedule of shows that FGC attends. I know before the car show season starts OZOC has a list of all the car shows that we plan to attend, dates of the shows and links to sites where we can register. If FGC made a sticky I know a lot more poeple would be signed up to go to car shows and FGC would be represented better. In other words FGC just needs to get organized and no it cant be left all on Ians shoulders bc he does just about everything for the club.
This is just my opinion and is meant to help FGC toward becomming more of a show club if it wants to go towards that direction. Everyone knows I try to attend every meet we have and will try to go to any show I can for FGC. Ian if you want to set something up give me a call and I help out anytime.
