Clean them well with brake cleaner first.

I got around to doing my brakes. Started late on Friday, and spent all day on Saturday. what a PITA!!!! I can't believe what a pain it was to get the rotors off. All 4 rotors were rusted to the hubs!!! I guess that's what happens when you live right next to the ocean.

I made a hige mess out of my garage floor. My cool epoxy floors now look like ****. and it probably won't come off either. OH WELL!!!!

anyways, here's a a few shots of one of the front wheels. (no wisecracks about my old, crusty wheels!!) I painted the rotors withe High temp paint and you can see that it hasn't rubbed off yet. Some of the paint is collectingin the holes and slots. I'm sure it'll come off once I put some miles on.

Don't ask for a review because I am about a week away from testing out the brakes. I am following Baer Racing's procedures which require you to drive normally for about a week. then, after that, you should "season" the rotors. Once the rotors are seasoned, you can then "bed" the pads. Baer is probably the best aftermarket brake company out there, IMHO! (they have been doing BBKs for at least 15 years and it all started through their racing program.)

Anyways, here's my parts list:

Racing Brake Goodridge Lines
Motul 600 fluid
Project Mu B-force pads
R1 Concepts "premium" rotors.

Everyone talked about how noisy the B-force pads are...............

well, mine don't make any noise at all......I mean, NOTHING!!!! It may have to do with my install though. I used plenty of "moly" grease on all surfaces of the shims, etc. This is what an Infiniti tech advised me to do.

Wheels look like crap.... haha j/k. That's good to hear on the B-Force Pads. So what was the approx. cost for your setup? Look forward to hear your reviews after you " season " the rotors.

See, use anti squeak and the pads make no noise. I'm glad you got the rotors off. They can be a PITA, can't they? My epoxy garage floor also has markings from several brake swaps. And more to come.

The black paint looks nice. It will wear off fine.

I bought the rotors from R1Concepts.com
B-force pads from mynismo.com
Motul fluid and goodridge lines from racingbrake.com

I'm not sure of the total...somewhere between $500-$600
