I just installed the R1 concepts rotors this past Saturday with Hawks pads, and don't have any squealing/squeaking and they stop on a dime! Everyone getting these will be very satisfied!!! Great price for the whole set, it was just over 400 + shipping pads included.... R1 shipped out mine pretty quick too!

Well, that might be the reason for all the complaints about brake noise.

I haven't had any noise out of the pads I have installed on G's or Z's, including the Axxis Ultimates on my coupe and Axxis Deluxes on my sedan.

you could be onto something!!! I bought this crazy thick, gooey grease that Infiniti said to use on the calipers when I install new pads........without using this grease, pads will make alot of noise!

I have used the CRC spray on brake quiet stuff from a can and it has worked well. And it's easy.

Just paint the rotor with high temp paint before installing them. You'll be fine. All good rotors should rust because of the iron content.

rotors are cast iron, what do you expect?

I do like your idea of painting the rotor, sean. will you give a parts list of the "right stuff" to buy?

That's it. I chose black to match the hat, but there are other colors.

Some people don't like the idea of painting the rotors because it can hurt the pads. I think the pads are pretty tough - they are usually ceramic or semi-metallic and graind against metal rotors all day, getting really hot. I don't think they'll notice a little paint. just like they don't care about a little rust or dirt.
