Did you just put the words "quality" and "titan" in the same sentence. There is a first time for everything.

EDITED b/c me no know grammArio
OK, so I know Richard and Nette as well...
Basically, Richard will give away a lot of his work, and his wife keeps them afloat by actually charging people. The guy that owned the shop before Richard had to sell it simply because he didn't charge people enough... much more to the story, but that's a long story cut short.
ok, so I think what I typed last night was retarded... and I edited
---------
Look at it from the standpoint of being a business owner running a body shop.
Basically, she was probably a Bitch because the verbal agreement established by Todd and Richard/Lynette was that Todd was going to perform simple work for a short period of time. In actuality - Todd's car was dismantled and everything took up a lot more space and much more time than Lynette expected.
Were you guys asking the workers for certain tools or advice at times? That would also make her even more pissed off.
---------
From what I understood (from the other half of the story) if Todd had stated that he wanted to dismantle the car, they would have told him to take it outisde with the G/Z crew from the beginning to avoid taking up the space in the building.
What I typed above is just what I remember them explaining to me 6 months ago. It may be altered by my imagination or whatever, but you get the point. There are two sides to a story.
Todd is crazy and ****, Lynette has her own quirks too but she has a business to run. Put them together and personalities clash and all hell breaks loose. Many of you (like Jeremy) were there to observe the clash and I heard of the aftermath.

^^^ Nice to know. I'm still around and haven't missed a post or statement in 6 months.
FYI, I paid the bitch $250 for 5 days for that stall. You guys are ALL class acts, I wish. Keep it up, it's nice to know who was really a friend (or not).
Late.

reduce it to the lowest common demoninator.... "pricing" if she has a porblem with the way he is doing the pricing then she needs to take her husband aside and set him straight not the paying customer. The way she is handling the customer will do more damage tothe bottom line than his low balling.
Due to a flex agent in the paint the bumpers NORMALLY never match the fenders or hood of the car. Even factory cars will never match. Especially light colors.
They are right. There is no way to perfectly match the paint without blending it in. So you can't be picky.

even dark colors are hard to match after they have aged a little. All paint is hard to match 100% but if he is paying I think he can be picky but does need to have resonable expectations.

well not as good quality as you put out with NLP. Im sure it doesnt even compare.
The issue here is...rayan paid what he was asked to pay.....I dont know the shop or the kind of shop he took it to so I am not gona bad mouth the man or his wife but all I can say is that I hate people that screw up and than say "I did not charge you enough"...Well you just screwed my $30K car and you say you did this because you let me go on $150........Rayan is wright IMO and the shop should be blunt in doing business and charge the real price from the begining...If the customer agrees than they will pay or walk out ..
I totally agree....Jamaca is totally right in the way that company is run. Richard would practically do the work for free if u just ask nicely, so yes she needed to step in BUT...if he makes a lowball quote, she needs to confront HIM and tell him not to do it anymore but you cant retracked a qoute or validate shotty work because you did it for cheaper than normal
Nough said on that issue CJ is completely right I know plenty of time I quoted a client wrong and had to take a loss on a return. Dans was one of them. You dont see me bitching. Well maybe a little.

FYI, the $200+ price was the amount Richard's wife quoted me. I don't remember exactly how much it was but $250 seems about right. Also, she made up the rules, I just abided by them. They only gave me 1/8 of their shop (one small corner) and that was only if it was not going to be used, otherwise I had to work outside if they needed the space. We spent about 1.5 days working inside and ~3 days working outside. People like Ian, Sean (Gilley), Richard and Jeremy can all attest to the above being truthful. Also, I lost about $3500 if memory serves correctly on the car and somewhere between 40% and 50% on my mods. Thanks for your concern Wes.

Tony, DrRabbitFurHead is fine, thanks for your concern. I tried to contact you but I no longer have the phone list and have had a disabled account.
Ian, what can I say...
