Wow, I just edited what I said last night b/c it made no sense... and just now I am viewing all these responses (gotta love dial up). VELLY INTELESTING WISSPONSES! jejeje

I understand intrigue's pain though and it would be nice if Richard and Lynette could agree ALL THE TIME. I saw the bumper on the weekend and I could see where the color was a bit off during the cloudy/rainy time. I still think you should call Richard and just drop the car off.

Looks like the pricing should be $150 to paint a bumper and $450 to paint the bumper and blend the hood and front fenders to match. They are two separate things and both should have been offered as options from the beginning I guess.

If I may add to the meyhem, I've also had problems with my body kit that Richard saw and agreed that he would paint it all over again. It has yet to be done (b/c of my lack of free time) but it will get done.

and on that note, I must remind you that what I said was from the perspective of the shop people and it was 6 months ago, so I could have some parts warped or a bit off.

FYI, I paid the bitch $250 for 5 days for that stall. You guys are ALL class acts, I wish. Keep it up, it's nice to know who was really a friend (or not).

Late.
That's fine that you read this. All-Fleet can read this too - after all, it is public. And you are ****, are you not? (In all seriousness, you are picky, right?)

AH, I didn't know you paid $ for anything, but did you pay for "storage fees"? or "space to dismantle" fees?

Like I said, I only know part of the story & I'm just adding a different perspective to it.

That's what pissed her off, is it not?

Just keep in mind whenver you get a car re-painted (unless it is absolutely perfect and undetectible) it will lower the value of the car considerably for trade.

That woman is a frickin menace and I thank her for that cause she convinced me NOT to take my car to them. I don't know why anyone takes their car to them cause I've heard so many bad things about that shop. I was treated horribly by Richard's wife in my brief dealings with them. I cannot believe they are still in business when they conduct themselves in such a manner to customers that pay good money for their services. There is just no excuse for her behavior.

I'm sorry to hear you experienced the same treatment and then some.

That's not saying much. The club has only one other president.

I dont see what the big deal is. I think this is getting a little out of hand. If a business gives a quote they should try to stick to the quote if they cant, they need to call the customer and tell them after a second look that they can not paint at that price and not get in a pissy mood about it. I deal with this kinda crap all the time. In fact it happened to me today. I quoted a client 150 a month and we couldnt do it for that. So after a second look I told her listen I know I told you 150 but there are some more complexities in this case that I didnt expect and its going to be about 250 a month to do the work.

I understand that Ryan is upset and i agree with him. Sometimes you dont realize the paint doesnt match until much later. I can see how it could take a month or so to see the difference. Painting a car shouldnt be once you are out the door you cant go back and get it repainted if it doesnt match thats a bunch of horse ****.

Business is a risk. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and take a loss. Sometimes you make money sometimes you lose it.

As for Neff. worked out a deal with Richards wife fine. Let it be. If she agreed to it then its her problem. They can conduct their business any way they want and it is up to the customer whether they go there or not. WHO CARES this happened so long ago its old news.

With that being said: Everyone should kiss and make up.
