i have a utec to compensate but not many people have reprogramable computers.
on an american car, you just pay superchips or a business like that a few dollars to reflash your chip or ecu
Don't forget that you can also just get bigger injectors that are 9-12% bigger and that will get you in the ballpark. Most domestics do the maf, injector and most get some sort of rom tune to fine tune the fuel and retard the timing(FI applications of course). The NA stuff is normally injectors with a matched MAF. We'll find out on the dyno tomorrow. Think you'll make more horsepower than me....
Early morning air will help both of us out.

Early morning air will help both of us out.The old EECU on the Mustangs would automatically change the MAPs to adjust to the new mods, but this is done on a base timing and fuel curves, but u couldnt add timing (distrubtorless engines) and make your own curves.
Now I imagine the Nissan puter would run good with a larger MAF, I mean hell if the car can adapt to your driving style, then why wouldnt it adapt to a mod? Now with the UTEC u can control your own fuel curve and make the most of a mod. Thats what dynos are good for, to play around with your tables. I told Jermey im very suprised that we dont see bigger TB and MAF housings for the G.. thats usually the first things us Domestic guys used to change as soon as we got he car.. along with exaust, intake and such... Considerin a MAF housing for a mustang is bout 200.00 i m sure someone could mold one.. manufacture it and sell it for 800.00 on the JDM market... I paid 250.00 for my cat back on the Cobra... 800.00 for the one on the G.. its crazy.. so who is gonna do it?? Jermey get your PAT # hahaha

yeah well i dynoed it today and only got 6 more hp over my highest dyno to date. i am thinking that it works better in the real world because it is ramming more air into it. i have the bumper cut out and i KNOW it is getting more air in there. i know for a fact that my car is faster
like alan said. well thats where dynos dont help...

well i put down 256 SAE corrected and right at 270 uncorrected
this is 5 hp more than i have ever put down
all done on a dyno jet
i still have stock muffler, stock block, stock heads and cams, stock flywheel and clutch, stock headers. so these are pretty good numbers
i will let alan say his numbers if he would like to but they are nice....
his car sounds SOOOOOOOOOOOO sick !!!!

your car sounds soooo sick with those dump tubes!! highly recommended for anyone with turbo on these cars. drive around all quiet till under full throttle... hehe then all you see is taillights
Thought I would add that tonight on 436 a WRX STI with exhaust, etc tried me from 40mph. It was him and his girlfriend and they had the windows down(bad idea with my wastegate dumps). Lucky for him that I just kept it in 3rd. He went about a car length ahead of me but by 85 I had him by about 3 cars. He then tried it at 60 and we went to about 110 and I got him by about 3 again even though I short shifted into 4th. Man I'm going to miss this car.
