The Mitsubishi turbos are very reliable and have been used on many vehicles as OEM turbochargers for decades. Also, Greddy uses a similar turbo in their kit although theirs are not water cooled while ours are water cooled.
Different turbos, different manifolds, different intercoolers, different piping and additional components as well. The idea is to keep this kit as unobtrusive as possible while delivering the best value possible.
Installation time on this kit is 25 hours.
Yes, we have done some initial testing with the 18g's on a 370Z. The results are very nice and it performs exceptionally well. Also, your foot dictates how much boost you make as well as rpm. For example, if you are cruising at part throttle, you won't be in boost so your gas mileage won't be affected. Only when you put your foot down do you start making boost and eating more gas...with a big smile. 
Bigger exhaust almost always helps with turbos and this kit is no exception.

your pricing on this kit is amazing!How about an option 3 wire transfer and price please? How reliable are the Mitsubishi turbo's? The numbers look impressive at 10psi on the IPL. I cross referenced this thread with the other on the370z.com. Looks like this has already gained interest with the Z crowd. Hopefully this lands in the tier 3.
Have you done any testing with the 18g kit. I would love to see a dyno with that and just an exhaust. Plus 2200 rpm seeing 4psi is amazing but i cant help but imagine that killing your gas mileage. (hoping the 18g is 2500 to 2800 rpm before it sees that boost.) Big props on the kit though.. most guys design a kit and sit back... you always push the envelop and thats why i check your site every week. Maybe nissan will contact you about designing the next turbo for a factory fi g like they did with jim wolf. (didnt pull the trigger for some reason but the g35 guys got a factory style kit from it).
