I love my injen CAI but the pipes are getting way to hot.I'm thinking about getting a heat sleeve or heat rap to keep them cool

People have been feeling a difference after the 3.5-4k mark.
As for the water issue, you won't be having a problem unless you dive under water with your car LOL
You should be fine, just dont slam your car either haha

Def. false advertisement w tht 20 WHP gain. Even 7-8 WHP would be enough to put em in. Should have just went with short RAM intake. I dont know, maybe i should just spend 8g on a ****** twin turbo to make this thing faster. Well guess i stuck with them and $450 in the hole... E-bay lookin better or dyno to show otherwise... Oh, BTW i raced a twin turbo Porshe Cayenne yesterday and got blown away... **** Embarassed as hell got beat by a SUV :-((
...if it's any consolation, the cayenne turbo will beat the Cayman S aswell as the 911 targa LOL

Go for some wider, stickier rear tires... it'll definitely give you a more aggressive launch. I think that 330hp on stock 245s is really pushing it.

not unless you submerge your filter under water and hit the gas hard...so far i feel the power from 4500+ RPMS and on hard downshifts it ROARS

can you tell if they sound like the g35c injen cai? mine had a slight whistle to it at certain rpm and overall sounded booombdiggidy

i almost regret that i saw that thread about a member here selling his injen for $400 after i put an order in for my jwt.. all because of how satisfied i was with the injens on my g35.. plus that was a hell of a deal

so...even if i run thru some pretty deep puddles, water cannot get up into bumper compartment where filters sit? I talked w. mechanic (very bias though on mods..of course) from Infinity and he said it onlt takes about an ouce of water to get into intake to cause lock, and potentially cause rod and / or piston damage? Do you know anyone that had this problem yet?

I've had mine on for about 3.5 months now and haven't had any issues with water... Driven through some pretty bad storms too...
