Beluga Racing Axle back

Installed a Beluga Racing Axle back today. Ordered January 5th, so fast shipping from Texas to Virginia. Packed well, no blemishes and the welds looks great. Direct fit, OEM mufflers unbolted at resonator no problem. After lubing rubber muffler hangers they slid out. Each side took about 15 minutes. I did have to enlarge the slip-fit joint on the new muffler so it will fit over the stock resonator, but it was easy. One clamp included per side.

My current setup is Kinetix HFC's, Megan y-pipe, stock resonator, and Beluga axle-back on an x-sedan. Intake is Mishimoto smooth intake runners and K&N drop-ins.

I took it out right away and ran through the gears. Tomorrow I have my usual 65-mile round trip on the highway so I am anxious to see how it sounds at cruising speed (for me 75-80).

I took a sound clip vid, will post after I compress it

Initial impressions are good. Same volume but a little deeper rumble at idle. Get into it and it is only a bit louder than before, and again a deeper tone, slightly more aggressive. No huge changes, really. I wanted a bit better sound and a better-looking exhaust, my oem muffler looked clapped-out
