glad this got bumped

i just put the tanabe mufflers on (395 shipped and look brand new) and i honestly cant tell any difference in sound inside the cabin or with the windows down...maybe SLIGHTLY

now im sure its probably a bit louder if i am standing behind the car

i am definitely going to replace the cats. i was set on HFCs because i was afraid of the test pipes making it too loud, but after this, i am considering the test pipes due to the price, especially if i can get the cel to stay off.

i have a sedan, and i dont think i have any options on mid pipes, do i?

update: i put on my Ark r spec HFCs yesterday. sounds really nice with my tanabe mufflers. definitely made it louder but no drone at all in the cabin. there is some rasp/hiss around 3-3500 RPM in first and second gear, but overall sounds amazing

No, the FI Resonated HFCs will not throw any CEL's.

Please feel free to PM me directly if you have any questions or would like to place an order.

Thank you

Does this combo produce any real performance gains or is it just more noise?

Mostly noise. You will definitely get some power gains if they are installed correctly but I never have been able to tell
