DIY Clutch Swap - How hard?
Long story short, had the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, CMC, and CSC all replaced. One month, 2k miles later- it's failing. $3k in deep at this point after trying to have the clutch line swapped/fluid flushed to troubleshoot (no success).
Have to do the job all over...not trying to be $5k-$6k in the hole on a car worth 11k max.
How hard is it to do CSC/CMC/Clutch/flywheel/pressureplate/pilot bearing as DIY semi-noob? I will rent a lift at a DIY shop with all the tools one could need. I've done fluid flushes, valve cover gaskets, brakes, wheel bearings, coilovers, exhaust installs on my own- so I'm somewhat handy...but enough?
Would you recommend I tackle this? Can I get it done in 8 hours?

It's a pretty big job for someone who hasn't done it before. I had a little more mechanical experience than you going into it and it took me 2 days. Granted, I was stuck on one issue for about half a day (trying to line the transmission up with the engine), and I was doing everything slowly and carefully in my own garage so I didn't have a deadline to get it done. You would definitely need a transmission jack, so you would want to be sure that you had access to one.
This after having a new OEM CMC installed, HD JWT CSC, Z1 Clutch kit, stainless steel clutch line, high quality clutch fluid. In order to not have more potential headaches down the line, I think it is wise to install ALL new parts again including cmc/csc. Is this overkill?
Edit: Recent new problem, car is now experiencing trouble getting into 1st/2nd gear at redlights even after warmed up and getting into reverse takes at least 10 tries.
Overkill for sure as I think the problem can be narrowed down to a single part or incorrect installation.
Where are you located in IL? I would recommend giving TF Works (Touge Factory) in Wheeling a call. They do a lot of performance builds and are well versed in the G/Z platforms. Drop the car off, they will take it apart and will most likely be able to narrow down the issue and tell you what needs to be replaced. Their rates are very reasonable.

Won’t rev past 3500 HELP
So….. I did a clutch and pressure plate replacement for the first time on my 08 G37 sport. Everything went smoothly. The car starts right up shifts into all the gears, but now I’m hitting a rev limiter at 3500. Any help would be appreciated. I took it to the dealer they have checked ECU and crank sensor all fine. They want to charge me $1000 to make sure that I never touched the flywheel. I told them I didn’t not remove the flywheel, I however did use break clean just to wipe it down.
Hard to say. IRRC, there are a few somewhat unusual tools needed, like some torx bits, very long extensions (something like 24 inches of extensions with a swivel joint or two), and a transmission lift (if you're doing it on your own), so just basic tools wouldn't be enough. If you are going to give it a shot, I would recommend you give yourself 2 days, maybe have a mechanically-inclined friend on call in case you get stuck, have a way to run to a parts store if you end up needing something in the moment, and have a plan of how and where you're going to tow it if you can't get it done.
