I've just picked up an LSD out of a 370, no gears, no housing. Got it for free, so no big deal! I am going into the adventure of installing this on my G37X (RWD mod coming, so this will be fantastic to have) and am looking to fully DIY this. I've just begun doing research, and am wondering if anyone has any tricks on how to go about this. I intend on pulling a diff from a G in the junkyard so I still can drive mine. I will be using the gears that come with this diff, which MUST be an X model. Will I have to reshim the pinion? How off will the ring be with a new core? Where do I even get shims?? All questions I will be looking for answers, but am all for any insight as well!

If this goes well, I plan on making a DIY thread, even though a job like this will not be for the faint of heart.
