Engine Bay Missing Part Help
Engine Bay Missing Part Help
Hey everyone,
Recent got a 2009 convertible and was poking around the engine bay while installing daylight running lights. I noticed something odd, there's a wiring harness behind the battery that sits right underneath where the windshield drains water into the engine bay on the passenger side. Doesn't seem right... The top of the harness is totally exposed. I poured some water on the windshield and it heads right down the top of the exposed wiring harness and into the engine bay. I found pics of the same area in someone else's G37. There's shows a rubber boot covering the harness. On my car the harness is missing. Can the cover be bought separately? What should I look out for in terms damage inside that harness connectors? If there's corrosion, can apply anything to it after it's cleaned out.
