Fuel gauge

Hey guys, I have a 2011 g37x with about 201km, recently I have been having some issues with the fuel gauge. Sometimes the the needle on the gauge will show it being at 1/4 but as I keep driving, the needle with start to gradually increase. Also there has been times where the gauge would be at half tank and the gas sign would show up saying I have 30km left. Anyone know what this can be and if it’s a common issue, could it be a bad fuel sending unit.

Common problem. There is a self test you can perform to determine if it's the speedometer.
The rest look out for Engine codes to see if you see a fuel gauge code.

Continue to keep the tank at Full and watch out for erratic needle issues. The let it drop to about half tank and see if issues start at half tank.
If they do then this could possibly point to fuel sender. There are 2 senders that the Amp meter/ Speedometer reads. If one of them is worn out it will give you these issues.

I scanned for codes, no codes are logged. The issue does start when it’s at half, which sender do you think I should replace, the sender that is on the driver side rear seat?
