Rattling noise and code (p0106) and TPS code
My car (2010 G37x Coupe) has been struggling with acceleration, first it started with sluggishness then the throttle started purging, it jumps between 1000-3000rpm. On hard acceleration there seems to be nothing wrong; like pedal to the floor. It happens usually on slow and medium acceleration. The MAP sensor code (p0106) still remains after REPLACING my MAP sensor. The car will also shut itself down and the *Slip Light* and *VDC OFF* lights will come on, the car won’t go above 10mph or 1200rpm. I have indeed checked my brake fluid. It does what i would call “limp mode” twice a day if i turn the car off and back on it goes away but my CEL light remains…
Could anyone help me figure this out?

I ran P0106 in the engine control shop manual and could not locate that specific code. But I did note that the MAP sensor code should be P0643.
All of the P010(X) codes I could locate (P0102 P0103 P010C P010D) were all associated with the MAF sensors (one in each intake tube).
With that said, you could try cleaning the MAF sensors and see if that helps with the limp mode issue.
I am not sure of the connection between the Slip Light and VDC Off indication. When I had all my headaches with bad MAF sensor wiring, i never got an associated slip or VDC light. Nor did it ever shut down, but when the wires were acting up, idle was all over the place - this usually indicated I was about to go into limp mode soon.
There are definitely some smarter folks on here than me that usually end up correcting half the stuff I post, so hopefully someone can shed some light on your issue.

Ha ha ha, I just noitced your post heading said rattling noise. Could be a failing Cat issue also as that can cause rattling (as well as a loose heat shield, so there's that).
