P0106 code issue

Need a little help regarding this code. P0106 keeps popping up every 2-3 days even after I checked for any major issues. Had the MAP sensor replaced, car was checked with a smoke test for leaks and wiring was checked as well. Everything seemed to be normal, but the code keeps popping back up. What could the potential issue be?

Car is getting uprev tuned next week and would love to figure this problem out before I get tuned.

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere near or on the intake manifold.

Check all the rubber tubes for cracks, check the tb bolts. The real old trick is to spray brake cleaner around the intake manifold to see if the motor respondes by speeding up.

have you cleaned your maf's at all?
Also check the EVAP system and the purge valve is not rattling(it's dead if it is)

Just need to figure out what and where that is. I'm new to infiniti. I've driven a mazda3s the last 8 years.

The bulletin I've seen, I'm out of warranty, so they won't fix/reprogram without $$$.

What if a ECU reprogram is the ONLY fix? Sometimes you got to pay...

You may want to monitor the output of the MAP sensor with an OBD scanner to see if it is low. Also, look at the freeze frame data to understand the conditions when the code was set.

The vacuum system on the G37 is very basic: one line to the brake booster and one line to the EVAP system.

Well if ECU reprogram is the only option, then I'll pay the $$$.

Spectacular info on the Vac hoses. I'll check them today.

I have a Bluetooth OBD scanner with Torque pro, what metric am I looking for? VAC? what is the acceptable range?

thank you very much for the info. I really appreciate it.

Use Torque to reset the code. If it comes back then start spraying and researching. I had the same thing and used my Dashcommand to reset and it has not come back since November.
