G37S 6MT with SRM from 370z Sport 6MT

Hey all, just bought a 2011 G37S 6MT, a few issues here and there and one of which is going to have me pulling the transmission. Now, I know that G37’s and 370z’s have a lot in common mechanically and I’m wondering why the G37S 6MT doesn’t come with the Auto Rev-match feature that the 370z Sport 6MT does? I’m also wondering if it is possible to install this feature on a G37? Has anyone done this? Any advice? I can’t imagine that I’m the only one curious about this.

I know I've read it answered here on the forums somewhere. Something about the sensors to read which gear is selected being in the transmission or something. I'll look around for it. It wasn't feasible or cheap whatever it was.

"RevMatch"

If it was feasible, it would've been done already. To my knowledge, it has not.

So the Rev up feature in the Z uses:
JK transmission (gear sensor)
input shaft speed sensor (rev up trans only)
S-mode switch
Z cluster ( communicates with the ECM to let it know S-Mode has been enabled)

All of these could be simply retrofitted except for the Cluster which will give you a nice headache.

@BULL, Out of my own curiosity, all the above you mentioned notwithstanding, but would the G37 ECU recognize the feature? Or would the 370Z ECU be needed?
