Either of them will fit, I have the synchro rev version. That feature won't work though.

Any year 370z and g37 6mt will fit. They are all CD009's.

Incorrect CD009's are for VQ35DEs and will not work by just bolting on. The JK40C, JK41A, JK41B, 1EA0A, 1EA0B etc are for HRs and VHRs.

^ I believe internals may be similar or same, but I think the main difference is that the HRs and VHRs have internal CSCs

Ya I knew about the CSC being internal vs external. Didn't know they didn't bolt up at all. So is the HR/VHR 6speed not called a cd009?

No they aren't CD009, they have different designations (JK40C, JK41A, JK41B, 1EA0A, 1EA0B). My google search has found that the HR/VHR transmissions also have an upgraded helical cut reverse gear and triple cone syncros in 1st and 2nd. Not sure what that all means though personally. LOL

I was looking into all of this when I was going to swap the 6sp over my 5AT. TTV36 is correct although, any year G or 350 trans will bolt-up but you have to have a custom hydraulic slave cylinder and clutch fork made. Apparently there's a kit out there for it, I forgot who makes it. Its a huge hassle and not at all worth it considering the price of the JK41A (G37 manual trans) is roughly the same cost and far superior to the previous model trans the non HR's came with. If I were you, I would search for a G37 SPECIFIC transmission but as stated above, the 370z will work too but cant use the rev match.

Hello ttv36, I have a question for you. So i recently i am having syncros issues as well. I'm grinding on 3rd and 5th gear. Since you've stated that there are certain model transmission that rev match will not work. Since i own a 2010 g37s sedan 6 speed and it has 116k miles. Do you know which transmission model will work normal with rev match or which is the inifinti g37 transmission model?

I recently found a 370z transmission - 2012 Nissan 370Z Manual Transmission OEM 34K Miles for $900 or do you recommend me getting transmission that came off from g37 coupe or sedan? I found this one 2008 Infiniti G37 Manual Transmission OEM 43K Mile for $850. Any advice would greatly appreciated.
