I want to prepare my trans for track days and think a transmission cooler is a solid investment. I saw Stillen makes a whole kit and there is a guy on youtube who pieced one together and sells it as a kit.
Was curious, for anyone that has done it, if it was worth it to source the pieces myself or just buy the kit?

 

Entirely up to you, I went the DIY route with no issues, just buy a good cooler. I put it in along with an oil cooler. its easy enough to make a bracket and route the lines.
