Twin Stillen Supercharger...

Soo.. to much my surprise I now have not 1 but 2 vortech superchargers. (dont ask)

Now I was wondering has anyone dared to modify the piping and do a twin stillen supercharger kit yet?

I am thinking about the logistics of it, and it seems simple enough, but worried how much PSI I would be pushing in to the engine, and not wanting to blow anything apart.

I mean one of them is going to be installed with the stage 2 pulley kit, but the other, not too sure yet....

I was thinking about re-doing the piping for the intake and having it drive in separately to the manifold. When this happens, obviously one is closer then the other to the manifold so it will be pushing air in sooner then the second. But will it work? I know I would need a larger serpentine belt to take all this in, and a re-tune. Maybe bigger injectors again! We will see.

Its just a thought right now, but has anyone attempted this?

GTM explains that the only reason they did the twin sc was that they were told it was imposible. They dont expect to sell many because for the price you could go tt. Stillen will not make one of these kits.

Even if Stillen does, sorry GTM is the only way to go.
Stillen products , especially sc IDK good luck.
If you pull it off, see if team Stillen will sponsor you.

I already have the stillen SC kit, have had it for over a year and love it! Thought about grabbing a second SC, as I can get a good price on it. Then I can do some custom fab work, maybe use the GTM mounting bracket and pulley belt and give it a tune, then see how it goes.

But, reliability might drop, which is my only concern. Right now it runs like a dream for a DD and I want to keep it that way.

If you have a Stillen SC and it's running beautifully, leave it alone and don't put a wrench anywhere near it.

If you did manage to have the proper brackets made to mount two superchargers you'd be looking at almost a fully custom kit. The boost would be higher than the stock block could handle, the IC would be past its cooling limits (would probably need a new custom larger FMIC (air to air or air to liquid), and the tuning would be all custom. Theoretically it could be done but I don't know if it would be worth it.

Easily enough answered, no, it would not be worth it, unless the notoriety was worth many, many, thousands of dollars more than an off the shelf FI kit.

Stillen will not do twin SC for the sake of being reliable and CRAB.
