I’ve recently changed my entire transmission for a used one after my radiator blew and mixed coolant into my transmission and destroyed the old one. Fast forward 2-3 months. Cars been running amazing also, I noticed a leak where the transfer case meets the out of the transmission circled in the photo.
Now the part I don’t understand is that I’ve been to 3 shops and have all gotten different quotes on where it’s leaking. First guy said it’s the internal seal of the transfer case that’s gone bad. Second guy said it’s an output shaft seal which I don’t think is it. And the third guy said it’s was the back of the actual transmission (part in blue) and it’s leaking through the housing to the transfers case
NOTE: I’m not losing any fluid in my transfer case only transmission.
