Fueling questions
So I'm getting ready to replace the fuel pump in my G37 just as regular preventative maintenance thanks to the integrated filter, and I'm wondering if it's worth an upgrade to one with more lph. I'm still on factory injectors, would it make more sense to do those first? For a bit of context, mods are:
Stillen Gen3 CAI, Fast Intentions Test Pipes, Fast Intentions Catback, I have no intention of going forced induction at this stage
During my last tuning session with Uprev they did mention I could use a bit more fuel, this was awhile back as I've been happy with where I was at power wise. But if I'm gonna replace something I like to go a step above whenever possible. Complicating the issue is I can't seem to find sources that agree with each other about the different flow rates of the OEM injectors or fuel pump to do the math myself, so please feel free to chime in with any information you may have. Should I hold off on doing the pump until I can get bigger injectors too? Or will I still see a benefit to doing one, then the other?

No real benefit from doing one and then the other besides you will have it out of the way.with that being said the only thing you can upgrade is your pump itself .I personally wouldn't go over 340 lph
once the engine is warm and you try to restart it ,it may crank a bit longer than what you're used too.
You will definitely need a retune after installing bigger injectors and I highly recommend you do it at the tuner shop and not drive at all with them installed before the tune. May need a tow if they dont allow you to do it there.
If you are not getting any more upgrades its probably best to just let it be ,seems like the fuel department is adequate. But if you are this is probably the best time into looking to go e85.
