Bad Engine Noise + Overheating

H Guys,
I own a 2008 infiniti G37 coupe with 150,000 miles
A week ago whilst driving I notice that the temperature gauge had shot right up, and I could see steam coming from the engine by the windscreen.
Found out that the heater hose connector was broken. The heater hose connector has now been replaced but now coolant gushes out of the radiator and the engine makes an intermittent tractor like noise
I have attached an audio sample of this
Please can anyone tell me what this noise could mean?
Thanks!

Did you bleed all the air out of the system?

Not sure would need to ask the machanic who changed the heater hose connector. Do you have any idea what could be causing the engine noise? Some online folks have suggested it could be broken cats

1. If coolant is "gushing" out of the radiator SHUT THE ENGINE OFF!
2. Why on earth are you revving the engine when there is little/no coolant in the system?

Why not take it back to the mechanic who did the repair? It is obvious that they did not repair it correctly.

Not trying to beat you up, but running a engine when there is no coolant in the system is a engine waiting to blow. Tow it to the mechanic- let them fix it right.
