Aftermarket oil pan fitment

I'm looking at an oil pan upgradeNot a fan of just using a spacer.Looks like the vq35hr will fit the VQ37vhr...
Will the VQ35DE pans fit our VQ37HR ?
There's not a lot of vertical clearance under my GSo I was looking at the winged pans out there.
they don't seem to come with an oil pickup spacer, that leads me to assume they are stock depth.
Should I be concerned with swaybar and oil cooler sandwich plate clearance too?
You'd think these vendors would list dimensions on their products

What’s wrong with your current oil pan? You won’t be making extra horsepower with this upgrade.

Gotta drop the stock pan to do the oil gallery gasket upgrade/fix. (My oil gauge will drop to 3psi at idle)
Want the extra capacity, the finned aluminum, the baffles, and the turbo drain backs.
This sled is eventually going turbo 😎
so now's the time to swap pans

VQ35DE’s oil pan won’t fit. VQ35HR’s oil pain WILL fit. If you plan on adding turbos, this is just a waste of money. You can go ahead and do this mod if you feel it will make a difference (probably won’t) since it’s your money and who am I to tell you what to do. Or you can throw money at other components that will increase the reliability other than the pan. If you’re concerned with oil being used up, spend the extra buck for better oil instead. JM2PW.

Joyryde, maybe I'm not making myself clear...
Not trying to just swap stock pans.
But I do appreciate your input.
I see that the DE had a completely different bolt pattern and overall shape. But the HRs and VHR seem to use the same OEM gasket part number
I'm asking if the aftermarket pans meant for the earlier VQs (not including the DE) will fit.
hopefully without interference from other components.
Specifically the winged style ones.

Oil cooled turbos need drain back ports.
That alone should justify at least a spacer.

Greddy makes one however is double the price. $345
https://www.z1motorsports.com/engine...8aAgppEALw_wcB

CJ motorsports from concept z whichis $745

I get the point youre in "might as well while im there"
However that same might as well would be the same if you source a upper oil pan and modify it add a spacer and make it fool proof prior to anything this way when the time comes you'll be ready either way.
Most times the prices listed above snap people back to reality however the choice is yours. Apart from adding a spacer there are not a lot of bolt on options that wont require the 2nd stimulus.

Anyone holding one of these ARC pans?
I like how it only has one wing(no oil filter interference), and no pickup spacer needed.
I'll weld in a couple of baffles and the drain back ports myself. So dirty or damaged is

Then consider a decent oil cooler set up. Capacity, Cooling, Budget.

Thanks, that's good advice.
Doing whatI can to combat/control heat before i go FI.
Why wouldn't I want an upgraded oil pan with said drain back ports too? I just don't want to overpay for one.
Cool thing about not needing something right this instant, is coming across deals, which is part of what I'm doing by putting the feelers out here.
so thank you guys for the input. Even if it is trying to talk me out of something.

I gots an oil cooler (w/fan) and thermostatic plate.A trans cooler (w/fan) bypasses the radiator "cooler".Valve body shift kit (bonus, helps control line pressure to said cooler).
Deleted the coolant lines to the oil filter housing and throttle bodies. (I'm in SWFL)
Quality, clean fluids of course.Going for the R8 coils (metal housings stay cooler).
wrapped headers (ceramic eventually).Finned, extra capacity diff cover and LSD going in as soon as fed ex delivers.Opened up the stock Honey comb side grills w/a dremel.
Rerouted the airflow shields around the radiator even.
Oh yeah, mesh grill z1 undershroud/splash guard and a larger power steering cooler (no fan)
Haven't put holes in the hood or fenders yet lol.

Finned low profile trans pans for the 5 speed are spendy as well lol. So if anyone knows of a good source...
(I see some way too deep ones available for the Titans)
