Power Loss and Codes P0106 and P0430

Hey All, I am experiencing the following issues: 2 days ago was cruising at 80mph or so and felt power loss and rpm drop. I let off accelerator and slowed to 70 or so then gave it 3/4 throttle expecting a downshift and the usual kick in the seat. Instead I got a small rpm increase and the red e-brake and red battery light flashed for a second. The car didn't stumble under normal throttle... I had no problem except above 70 mph or so. I use Torque app, saw I had a pending p0106, so I cleaned to MAF sensors and checked around for vacuum leaks with electronic cleaner sprayed around vacuum hoses, no leaks. I reset the ECU last night. Today on the way home had the same issue at around 80mph, so I backed off and cruised home at <70mph with no problems. Now I am throwing p0106 and p0430. Any clues on this combination of issues? No recent mods, bone stock except for K/N drop-ins, grounding cables (+1 yr ago), suspension work,,,, well maintained (by me :-)

Summary -
Hesitation under throttle at 80mph+
Battery and ebrake lights flashing under hard throttle
Codes p0106 and p0430 pending

Could be dirty TB's, did you clean them? p0106 is common with gunky butterflies. Also CAT could be dead.

You don't mention what year or which G37 you have, so this TSB may or may not apply to you.
ECU update that fixes the P0106:

Generally a "battery and parking brake" dash light means the alternator is not functioning.
Does your grounding kit bypass the battery current sensor?

I would fix the first two issues first, then see if the P0430 is still showing.

Thanks! I have a 2012 x sedan, just hit 90k. Yeah the alternator would be suspect, but they only light up at WOT... Is that indicative of something? Like the belt slipping at high rpm? Just a thought. I drive fairly hard, have run it through 4th gear at wot and never an issue until recently. I do think my cats may be going after 90k.... The grounding kit has been over a year, but removing it will be in store tomorrow to see if I have a result.

I did a check of throttle bodies with my OBD.. relative vs absolute throttle position. It indicated it's clean, going to trying grounding cable removal first...the grounding kit has been in for over a year but it's worth a try. Also, correct my cats are probably going bad.

Hey SoniqVQ - I thought it was solved...Had alternator replaced Friday, drove all weekend no problem. Started up fine on a cold 32*f morning on Saturday. Tried to start it this morning on the way to work, battery DEAD. It's a 10-month old Optima Red Top. Volt meter read 11.2v. Taking the battery in this afternoon to Advance to check...if it checks out fine then it could be the emissions vent valve that's draining the battery? The alternator was charging at 14.3v when I checked this weekend...
