Stillen Oil Cooler Filter

I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews on different oil filters for the Stillen Oil cooler so I was wondering what people are running. I got a Mobil1 M1-110 but haven’t installed it yet. Does anybody have any experience with this filter?

I currently have the Fram one on but I’ve heard too many bad things so I’d rather switch.

thanks in advance

I've had my 37 for a year now and It has seen over 10 filters. I did this to monitor a metal shaving issue I had due to bad guides. All filters were opened after 500-100k miles and I can tell you Fram does not deserve the hate it gets.

90% of the issues you see with fram are just like Covid-19. Underlying issues that affected certain cases differently than others.

Though the Mobil filter is great, the size is where it catches people.

You see the standard Oil filter on these cars is tiny and even if it was 1000 micron this would mean it would get saturated quickly whether it's a Fram or Mobil.

Whatever filter you decide on make sure it's a Titan filter, the added size will increase it's life and should keep your oil cleaner regardless of who makes it in comparison to the stock size.

Awesome, thank you for the detailed response. Apparently Titans use M1-110. So it should work with the Stillen oil cooler?

Some oil filter coolers/sandwich plates made in the USA force you to use domestic filters however if this Stillen one accepts a factory Nissan filter then the Titan one will be the same just added volume.
