Hi guys... looking for some advice on oil filters to use with the Stillen Oil cooler. I am regretting getting this cooler as it requires a non standard oil filter that has a wider diameter gasket to properly seal on the oil cooler flange. Stillen recommends a PH3950, which kind of blows my mind as it is low end filter. It turns out that it crosses over to the Mobil One M1-105, which no one is town carries. I ordered a box of them online (6) and was a bit disappointing that the gasket diameter looks smaller than what the Fram is

Anyone running the Stillen oil cooler? what filter are you using?

OK, so I heard back from Stillen... the only alternative to the Fram is the WIX 51381

 

I got the stillen oil cooler and I order in the Fram filter. Sucks but it works.

 

I'm using an Amsoil filter with my stillen oil cooler. Part number is EA021
