My 2010 g37x sedan is having some shifting issues on manual mode only. FYI my car isn't tuned and its bone stock. Whenever I drive the car hard on manual mode the intelligence key warning light symbol pops up solid on the cluster and the transmission will go into DS mode. From there the car won't accelerate anymore till I popped it back on "D" I also notice popping it back on "D" takes some effort when this happens. When i drive the car casually on manual mode it doesn't do it and going back to "D" is easy. No group pages on Facebook has no answer for me. What does the key warning light have to do with shifting??? I've lost sleep on it, pulling my hair and getting anxiety over it. My car only has 86k miles

more than likely the issue is your shifter assembly itself, the a/c auto amp receives the shift signals from the lever and if the contacts are not working properly the ac auto amp may see erroneous neutral position signal which will cause the key warning light to come on.

how do I fix this without having to replace the shifter assembly?

This is what I found that white thing gets stuck whenever I upshift and when that thing gets stuck up like that the car goes into DS MODE and key symbol pops up.
