This has happened twice and I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ll get into the car and try to start it but everything is dead. I try to start it and no lights come on but if I wait 5 mins the car starts fine no hesitation and can go weeks without it happening again. Car is completely stock no aftermarket wiring.Anybody have this problem?

 

Check that your battery cables are on tight.

 

Check all the grounding straps

 

+1 for checking the battery cables. I just had to replace the negative cable as it stretched over time and wouldn't stay tight on the battery post causing intermittent power failures and a very drained battery.

 

Car has like 5 or 6 grounding straps

 

Looks like it may have been the battery and the possibly the cables. Tested the battery and it only had half the CCA it was supposed to, replaced it with a optima red top so we’ll see if it happens again.
