Exclamation Car will not start

Hey what's up guys, I need some help with my 2010 G37x. I had to replace my battery recently cuz It was A bit more then 4years old(oem). A year later I'm having issues bought the silver duralast. (2nd best) About 2 weeks ago (from today 12/16/15) I have i driving to Atlanta City in NJ from NY stayed overnight try Turing the car on the day afterand it was dead....got it jumped start and stop at burger king omw home to NY after driving for 45 min or so turned it off, came back out worked fine??? This same exact problem happend twice throughout last week during cold morning starts. Brought my car to auto zone since the battery is still underwarrenty got it tested it and told me "the battery isn't fully charged" and say "please charge" on the machine she "it needs to be fully charged so it can get a failure reading so we can swap it out under warranty". I forgot to mention that I Everytime I left my car I made sure everything was unplugged and turned off. So I'm thinking the battery was just not holding charge cuz this week I had no time time to go back to get it tested and these last couple of days ago I've been fine i come home one night was cleaning my car in the garage playing some music nothing crazy for like a good 2 hours I was curious to see if my car would turn on and it did !! I was surprise cause all of the troubles I've been happening n was kinda shocked..... Woke went to use the touch less key button on the handle and no response ... So I'm like **** my car is dead !!!! So I immediately called my friend from and he came with a portable jump starter and wouldn't turn on so I had him use the cable ones and still nothing so now I'm stuck I checked every fuse the headlights tailights, interior, chairs go up and down but the engine won't start I tried putting into acc mode and it won't even do that non the less move from off can anyone help besides telling me to get a new battery I don't wanna have to spend $200 on a battery that has warretny any idea of what could be the problem ? Shortage ?

Sounds like your alternator is not charging your battery when your car is running. So, youre saying right now nothing will turned on like your radio, lights, etc? If so the battery is completely dead which goes back to me thinking alternator not charging.

If things turn on and youre getting power to electronics the battery is ok then. Do you hear your car trying to turn over? Do you hear clicking? If things power up and you hear no clicking or car trying to turn over then your starter is bad. If you get power to everything and your do hear clicking like the car wants to turn on then I thin thats a bad fuel pump. Those are my 3 things to check.

Why not use an IPod instead of draining your battery?

Did you ever check your individual battery cells with a battery hydrometer?

Did you ever measure your alternator charging voltage with a multimeter?

Did you ever check the date codes on the battery when you purchased it?

Just because the battery is a year old since you purchased it doesn't mean it is not an old battery or a battery that has one or more cells not accepting a full charge.

What was the rating in CCA of the battery? May not have been sufficient for someone that listens to music for 2 hours draining a battery that may not be accepting a full charge?

FWIW when I priced batteries for my previous 06 G35 the Infiniti dealer was about $20 higher so I had my battery replaced by the dealer.

Perhaps you should have done the same and had the dealer do the troubleshooting for you.

Good luck

Ok so I thought it would be the battery in my key fob because I had power when it was not connected after trying a jump start yesterday changed it, hooked it up to the portable jump starter again my interior lights on chair moves brake lights work headlights don't turn on or high beams I'm also able to lock the car but not in alarm mode and unlock it but wasnt Able to before...? the engine won't start the volt meter on the jumper reads between little less than 12 and 11 volts the push start says it in lock mode which is off right? But anyways I checked everything possible I highly doubt it's the alternator because I was able to turn on my car after playing music through the speakers for a few hours also it would start up as soon as I cut the power so it must be the starter ?

i would load test the battery. autozone sells pieces of krap batteries, the battery tester they use does not put a load on the battery to full test the actual amperage and voltage when load is applied. good luck getting warranty for it.
