No acceleration after stopping for a few seconds
As the title says, every once in a while (this has been happening the last few days), my car will not move with the gas pedal pressed for like 2-3 seconds after coming to a stop and I believe will then "surge".
It doesn't happen all the time, but it's scaring me. I had the tranny drained and refilled twice a week or two ago and am hoping this isn't considered the transmission slipping. I've never driven a vehicle with a slipping transmission and am hoping for the best. Maybe throttle body issues?
Any advice is appreciated!
Side Note: I'm not quite sure what tranny fluid was used and I am getting worried that maybe the correct fluid wasn't used. I keep reading about Nissan Matic-S being required, however the shop (Benny's) told me they used a synthetic fluid, and that the grade was "SL083" and that this was okay as per their service manual that lists what fluid is needed for whatever specific vehicle.

Update: Just called them and Benny's swears they used a compatible fluid. Talked to a very good mechanic friend of mine and he says there is global/universal ATF that covers Matic-S (it says so on the bottle). Talked to a few mechanics, have been told could not even be transmission related and could just be a coincidence that this is happening after the tranny flushes.

I would never trust a universal fluid, there's a reason why they say nissan fluid only. There are stories of people flushing transmissions developing slipping symptoms not to shortly afterwards

FYI, issue was low tranny fluid. Went back, told them I was having an issue and basically that they needed to fix it. Apparently there's a fill level check-valve in the drain pan; they used this, to check fluid level, added accordingly, have not had a problem since.

You open fill plug first then drain plug. After it drains put drain plug back in then fill through fill plug. You'll need hand pump that fits on atf fluid bottle they sell them at autopart stores. You open fill plug first so if you cant open it you dont have an empty transmission.
