New 2010 G37s owner, need transmission help (please)

Hey guys recently purchased a g37s (68k miles) off a guy. Test drove it and figured I would handle the transmission problems it has.
I guess it has a common problem of slipping gear from 3/4 and 4/5
The downshifts will be rough sometimes and lots of jerking and bumps.
We can’t figure out if its a solenoid/valve body issue, or if it just needs a ecu update. Please help.

Fresh fluid is a good place to start.

Have a dealer check it for the several transmisson Technical Service Bulletins that address shift quality. If they'venot been applied, that may work for you. They'll cost you money, though.
