Help Please Clutch/Transmission Issues on G37
Well, previous thread deleted because it was pointless. BUT I went to the track 2 nights ago on a properly broken in JWT HD Clutch, JWT Lightened flywheel, New CMC, Motul 5.1 fluid and rebuilt Z1 Heavy Duty CSC, nismo throw bearing, SS Clutch line. and Motul 75W90 tranny fluid change
On my last 2 runs the transmission completely locked me out of all gears, If I waited a bit by the time I coasted down the track I could get in a gear(although roughly and I was good to go back to pits)
Drove home, car felt like it was hesitating ever so slightly at normal driving 2k rpms almost like clutch not fully disengaged(if I sped up it went away). I did a highway pull the next morning to test, same thing, high rpms can't grab a gear...normal driving she shifts fine?!
I understand I can't do a standing burnout unless I pull brake fuse or disconnect yaw sensor, but I feel like maybe the ECU is OVER compensating even under acceleration and the tires aren't slipping? My wife recorded my one of my runs and you could see my brake lights flickering on and off sporadically as I went down the track.
Did a lot of research and I'm narrowed down to 3 things as a problem but could use some help/advice from community.
1) ECU/TCS/VDC/ALBS can't handle the lightened flywheel
2) Bad throw-out bearing (Nismo one, it's not oem brass)
3) Bad syncros in tranny/Bad tranny
For the #3 I say that because I drove a while on a bad/slipping clutch, however It never grinded gears and I didn't go crazy on the car because I know it needed replacement)
I'm going back to the shop that did the work to see what they say as well.
It's a little ridiculous because I just dropped money to have the whole clutch issue that every G/Z have resolved and would like to enjoy the car, but apparently at the moment it can't achieve that....
